  This project is aimed at providing management tools for LAN devices, especially Cisco Catalyst ones.

  A patched version of the Cisco TACPlus server is already available : it provides user authentication based non-anonymous bindings to a LDAP directory. This patch is published under the OpenLDAP Public License v2.8 and source code is available, of course.

  Next improvement will be a new patch providing authentication based on additional criteria such as remote device name or timeframe. License is not clearly defined so far as it may depend on dependencies. Nevertheless, GPLv3 will be used if possible.
