  Sylphase is a free (as in freedom) operating system for normal PC's and Intel Macs. It is based on a Linux kernel and the GNU subsystem. The goal of Sylphase is to create a system suitable for both the total beginner as the somewhat more experienced user. Sylphase deviates from old Unix traditions to replace them with innovation and user-friendliness, while still remaining compatible with those systems.

  On this website, updates and news from Sylphase will be posted. If it isn't a problem for TuxFamily, a wiki and/or forum could be hosted later at this website, too. (This would be MediaWiki and phpBB, respectively. Open Source, GPL)
